[SOLVED] New build, GPU stops working after a few minutes

Hi, I just assembled a new build using the following components:

Cpu:AMD ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 S2H
Ram:2x4gb 2400Mhz HyperX
Gpu: Gigabyte Aorus RX580
SSD: Kingston 250gb
HDD: 1TB Samsung
PSU: Corsair VS450

The motherboard, cpu and gpu are new, the rest of the components are from my old PC. Yesterday everything seemed to be working correctly, but today when I played a game the PC turned off, requiring me to toggle the psu switch off/on. Now, when using the PC, even just watching a video, the monitors go black after a few minutes of use, and the GPU led and fans seem to be turning on and off repeatedly.

With my old GT 1030 the issue isn't happening, even after playing games for a while. I've also tried reinstalling the AMD drivers, but didn't solve the problem.
Now I'm not sure if this is a problem with the GPU itself, the PSU being too weak, or something else.
Any help is appreciated.

PSU being too weak

Gigabyte on their site says that they recommend 500W PSU. Yours is also aged and not of great performance/efficiency.

Thinking about getting a new PSU Monday to try it, is a Seasonic S12II 520W any good?

It is. Consider buying the M12ii 520W or 620W since the s12ii is in the end of life (meaning they stopped producing it)

Just an update, with the new PSU for 2 days and no problems so far. Seems it was weak power after all.
