New Build Has Strange Issues

My system is :
AMD FX 8320 CPU at 4.0 Ghz
ASRock Fatality 990FX Killer Motherboard
GTX 760 Graphics
8 GB RAM
LG GH24NSB0 Optical Drive
650 Watts PSU
I recently installed Dirt 2 and it ran fine and now when I insert GTA IV Disc the drive icon still remains as that of Dirt 2. And after that any game disk I insert on some games it remains same but for some the drive icon changes but the autorun run app icon remains same as that of dirt or gta. A really annoying thing. Should I get a new optical drive ? Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the icon that shows up on the auto-play popup window, or the icon on the taskbar for Windows?

Clear Cache?
use ccleaner?
This is not because of the drive at any rate, the OS(windows) is doing that.

Clear Cache?
use ccleaner?

Restarted. Used CCleaner. Reinstalled drivers. Don't know how to clear cache.

Sorry, meant temp folder. Although ccleaner shoulda taken care of that...

What to do now ? I can still replace the drive for free if that's the reason. I have askes this same question many times yet no experts figured out my problem. Also GTA IV disc 2 works fine with its own icon.

When you put the new disc in, right click in My Computer and click 'Refresh'

Already done that including a system restore also.
