So a buddy of mine built a pc recently and I have the bug. I also got my apartment broken into and got my laptop stolen so... Im thinking of building a pc in my new house.

I don't have a single thing so my budget would be $1700 (maybe a bit flexible upto $1800 if worth it) for everything. (screen Os mouse and keyboard and etc...)

I would be using this rig for gaming of course and work as well. Nothing very demanding on the work side and maybe some photo editing again nothing very demanding. I would imagine the gaming be the most demanding thing I will be doing. Also, I need it to be wifi capable.

I would appreciate anyhelp or suggestions. Thank you in advance

Cloak & Dagger! All black ITX build with wifi/BT & would be very quiet. The 21:9 monitor would help with editing due to the extra space on the sides as well as being IPS for better colors. It states 60hz but is actually 75hz (typo on PCPer). Set up the Front/Side fans as intake and the Rear/Top as exhaust.

If you don't want ITX then here's a ATX version in a mid tower.

Lastly if you want RGB then swap out the fans/cooler for the RGB versions.

Thanks, I don't really need the headphones and what do you think about the rtx 2070 or 2080 graphics card?

My b I forgot to post this the first time.

Approximate Purchase Date:this week

Budget Range: $1800 After Rebates; After Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, photo editing work, mainly gaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes I need one

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any

Location: Nc Charlotte

Parts Preferences:
open, familiar with intel

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire:Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: open to suggestions to get most of my build for gaming

Additional Comments: Playing games like BF4 fortnite apex, need to be wifi capable, need keyboard mouse speakers, current have a headset

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I have nothing

The RTX 2070 would be a solid GPU especially if you want to experience Ray Tracing. Going with the 2070 though I would probably change the monitor to 1440P to get the most out of it.

As for the 2080 it's a bit pricey for not much more performance over the 2070.

Do you have any recommendations for cooling? would I need anything in particular, my buddy mentioned the cooler master hyper 212. Also he did mention that he would suggest something that's 850W not 650 since the graphics card and cpu are pretty demanding. What are your thought?

The CPU cooler included in the box with R7 2700X is very decent one and is better than Hyper 212 in fact it is marginally better than Cryorig H7 on cooling side. 650W PSU is enough for R7 2700X and RTX2080 combo.
