Hey,

I’m looking to build a new PC primarily for gaming, but would love to start streaming. There’ll also be the occasional use of Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects.

My budget is flexible, depending on quality output but this is anywhere between €1000 - €1200. (I already have KB, M and dual monitors). I’d like to be able to play games on high settings - COD MW, Arma 3 for example.

I would love some feedback on where to start, some threads to read into or even easier for me, if somebody told me exactly what parts to get. I intend to shop around on different sites for best prices and so on. so no need to go into too much depth with linking me with the best prices. So far all I’ve been doing is admiring some builds on pcpartpicker.

Thanks in advance.

What resolution are your current monitors?
Even 'occasional' use of Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects can gobble up a ton or RAM. I would go with 32GBs (2x16GB)
I agree with @ScrewySqrl, You really should wait until new CPUs arrive and even then I would wait until BF/CM for the best deals.

24in 60hz 1920x1080s, Yeah I’m happy with 32gb, and will probably wait for the new CPUs if recommended.
