Hi! Today, with a friend and I, built a computer with new components, but included the hard drive and and graphics card from the older build. The new parts included:
motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 killer series http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157501
cpu: INTEL core i7 processor, i7-4790k LGA1150 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117369]
psu: Cosair CX series modular CX750M (750 watt) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040
ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455
case: Rosewell Thor V2
cpu fan: stock for now, going to buy new cooler in couple days

Old components:
hard drive: Western Digital 600gb hard drive (do not know rpm, been using this hard drive for 4 years) os: windows 7
optical drive: do not really know, cannot tell what brand it is
gpu: MSI twin frozr gaming gtx 760 oc edition
monitor: Benq XL2720T 120 hz monitor
keyboard and mouse: dell

I was able to install the motherboard drivers using the disc that came with the motherboard and everything seems to be working, except that computer now does not recognize my graphics card. I checked the nvidia control panel, but it couldnt start because my gpu was not detected. What should I do to resolve this problem? I am currently running windows 7 and have backed up my hard drive onto an external one.Your help would be awesome, thnx for reading!
