[SOLVED] New build help please! - UK - £500-£600 - 3D Rendering, Animation, Video Editing

Hi everyone, seeking help on a new build - I've tentatively come up with a components list (linked at the bottom), but I am way out of the loop when it comes to computing nowadays, so I can't be sure if it'll be any good or not!

If anyone could help me with the following points I'd be very grateful:

1. Is there anywhere I could save a bit of money (sacrificing a bit of power if necessary)?
2. Is everything compatible with each other?
3. A couple of components don't have a price found, are there alternatives, possibly?

Your build doesn't look too bad for what you are wanting to run, however I have a couple of comments...

1: Ditch the expensive closed loop water cooler. If you aren't overclocking the included box cooler with the 3600X is plenty (the AMD 'Wraith' box coolers are actually pretty decent and the 3000 series cpu's don't produce much heat anyways thanks to being 7nm based cpu's).

2: Don't go with a HDD, use the money saved on the cooler to get a 1tb NVME SSD instead as these are much faster. Save and load times can be a real issue with large CAD models so this will save time.

3: Motherboard - doesn't look to be a bad board, however do double check that the board has Ryzen 3000 series support out of the box. The B450 chipset is older than the 3000 series so earlier boards need a bios update first. If this is the case the board seller can probably do this for you. Also some boards offer 'bios flashback' functionality that will allow the board to be updated without the cpu installed, if that is the case you should be ok. The alternative is to look at a B450 Max motherboard (these are newer and have Ryzen 3000 series support), or go for the newer B550 chipset based boards which again all have Ryzen 3000 support out of the box (they typically cost a bit more than B450, on the other hand they should have better future cpu support if you ever wanted to upgrade and offer newer features like PCIe 4.0).

I wouldnt pay 40 pounds more for the same cpu with a little bit higher clock speeds out of the box.
Thats why i choose 3600 instead of 3600X.
Chose a b550 board because of out of the box compatability with 3600,also pcie 4.0
You dont need to pay 100 pounds for a AIO for a 3600.
The ram i put in has the same specs as yours,idk why there is a 30 pound difference.
The cooler is more than enough to cool the 3600.
I managed to put a 1660 super in there,would be much better than the 1650 super.
The VS from Corsair is one of the worst models they ever made,i put a cx550 which should be more than enough for it to work.
The P300A mesh is a solid case with mesh front panel so you have clear intake.
And dont pay 100 pounds for a windows license,you can grab them for much cheaper.
