Hello, I am currently building me a new computer, mine is kinda old and is going to get replaced mainly because Im gonna buy the witcher 3 and I want to play it with high settings and enjoy the beautiful game graphics in 1080p@60fps.

My old rig: amd fx-8320 (stock), Amd ASUS radeon hd 7950 3gb.

My build so far:
(CPU) - Intel core i7-4790k
(MOTHERBOARD) - ASUS z97-A
(GPU) - msi gtx 970 gaming g4
(PSU) - corsair-cx-750m-80-bronze-modular
(RAM) - Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE LP
( I have 2 already from my old one so ill have 4x4gb '(16gb total)' of these )

HDD - I have a 500gb from my old one

I'm not sure if the PSU is good or fits / is needed?

I would also like to add a CPU cooler, any recommendations?

Would my SSD im currently using that is soon 3 years old ( a samsung 128gb one ) which i'm only having my drivers and windows on still be usable for the new build? If not, recommend me one please!

Thanks in advance! :)

NOOO do not combine 2 different ram modules get 2x8 Gb because also running 4 modules on a 1150 motherboard is not ideal.
For PSU I suggest Coolermaster's v series or EVGA's G and B the one you choose is not really recommend and believe me PSU are very important. And also 750w is way too much ,550w is what I recommend you( you will use maximum 450-480w).
And lastly the ssd would work( at least in theory ) but if it doesn't the Samsung 850 is a no brainier.

Thank you so much for the reply!
One question, is 'be quiet!' a legit brand? Are they good / okay? They got really good reviews here in sweden but neither I or my friend have heard of it before?
Since I suck at PSU's and such, could you be kind and give me a link for one or some that you recommend? I would greatly appriciate it ! :)

Here is a very usefull link for PSU i recomend somethink from tier 1,2 or 3

Thank you so much for the answers. I have one more question if you can answer. I checked the website and there is only expensive ass ones there ( they are ofcourse high quality then ) but what makes them better than EVGA Supernova G1 650W, 80+ Gold?

Would EVGA Supernova G1 650W, 80+ Gold do it for me?

It certainly would EVGA's G series are perfect. The difference between them i think is that G1 doesnt have a hybrid mode for the fan( turn the fan off when it is not needed to make it quiter) and that it doesnt support sli.
