it is time to build a new pc as my is over 9 years old and i cant play the new game out . but by god things have changed ..right to start i got aCIT G-ForceATX Gaming Tower + an Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming K5 + AMD Rizen 5 1600X + a Deepccol GAMMAXX GT CPU Cooler .that is to start ..the rest of the component will follow ..i have fit the CPU and The coler on to the motherboard and here comes the problem...there is no "how to" and "where to" in the case box , the cooler box . I tried to goolge all those component to see if i could find a manual but it seems non existent
Would some be able to help with the connections...all those wires coming fom the tower ..the "led" wire coming from the coler ...there is also some "USB3" wire coming from the tower ...
can someone put in the right direction ..it would be grately appreciated
thank you

Solution
You can connect a 3 pin system fan to a 4 pin motherboard header and leave one pin out. It just means you may not be able to control the fan speeds but the fan will still work.

thanks for your answer ..got the motherboard manual but getting stock on some of the wire coming from the tower ..it has 3 fan ..2 front and one back ..but the two fron ..fan1 has is power connector + 2x 3pins connectors going back to the fan but fan one has also is power conector but the 2 x 3pins conector is not connectec to any thing ...where does it goes ..it has also a "blue" "plug" to accept a "19 pin" connector b ut no label on it ..
the case cames also with 4 screws nealy 1 1/4 " long ...what are they for ????????
OK WE GO FURTHER ...i got the psu + 2 HDD Seagate Fireuda 2TB each and a SSD 1tb WDBlue.....so here is the question ...on which drive it would be better to install the os

- The 19 pin goes into the USB 3 header on the motherboard. Your motherboard should case case fan headers for you 3 case fans as well, along with a CPU_FAN header for your CPU. If not you can use splinters to get more 3pin.

- OS should always be installed on to the SSD. It is faster.

- You don't have to use all the screws that come with the case. Some of them may be for water cooling stuff. As long as you have the motherboard sitting on standoffs and screws holding the board on to them you should be fine.

thanks for your answer ..but fan wise ..yes the case has 3 fans ..2 at front and one at back ..it is their connection which is weird to me ...i got the CPU_FAN connected ok ...but the 2 front one give me headache ..if i was to take a picture would you be able to advise ?

You can post a picture if you want. I'm trying to figure out what the issue is exactly.

Can you not find the wires coming from the front fans? They may be tucked into the front of the case or in the side of it (the opposite side of the side pannel behind the motherboard area).

Can you not find a place to plug the front fans into?

Do the cords from the fans not reach the motherboard or are they too short rather?

ok i will try to explain ..the fans have their power supply plug labelled :Fan 1 and Fan 2 . now from the top of the case coming down with the power Fan1 there 2 x3 pins connectors which are connected to 2 x 3 pins connector coming from the bottom of the case ..those connector are label fan1 ...then with the power connector label Fan 2 there is also 2 x3pins connector marked Fan 2...it is ?those one I dont know where to connect ....
can you follow me

OK, so those FAN1 and FAN2 connectors are joined together yes? It seems like the wiring is different than I though and has a prebuilt wiring setup for the case fans. The FAN1 and FAN2 connectors combine and then you connect a molex straight from the power supply to power them. You don't actually connect your case fans directly to your motherboard with that case although you could if you removed them from the prebuilt 2x3 pin system.

Try seeing if you can hook up FAN1+FAN2 joined plugs directly to the power supply on either end.

sorry for not coming back yesterday but I was finishing the build..got the HDD and The SSD the graphic card thee 2 x 8GB memory bars ...so I was going to start connecting everything to the PSU when I hit a snag .....ATX_12V is too short and will not reach the connector one mobo ..I have ordered one and hopefully I will get it tomorrow ...now one little thing is still bothering me ....all fan connection on the mobo have 4 pin ..my fans have only 3....is there anyway of connecting them..can I find a connector with 3 pin on one side and 4 at the other side ..both side would have to be "female" connector
hope you can help again ..thanks
