Just starting to compile a parts list for potential new build. Last rig is getting old AF and starting to run slow and buggy. To get to the point, I am planning on using

for CPU, if budget will not allow then
https://www.newegg.com/core-i7-9th-gen-intel-core-i7-9700k/p/N82E16819117958

I am at the point of trying to figure out the right Mobo, and I am truly the worst at figuring out which to use. I have always used ASUS but might switch. I will likely use one of the higher end Nvidia GPUs. I will use the rig mostly for gaming (WoW, Minecraft, Overwatch, Cyberpunk when it comes out)
Any idea for me, I would appreciate it.

Why not go Ryzen? Its a far better price to performance ration and the Ryzen 3000 perform only a slightly slower then Intel in gaming while allowing you to dedicate more into your GPU budget.

As far as motherboards, unless you are going to go into serious overclocking then any of the mid range boards will do what you need it to do. It more comes down to features you want, wifi, bluetooth, etc.
