I am looking to build a new gaming pc, but I haven't built once since the dinosaur I'm currently running a few years ago and want to get the biggest bang for my buck.

Hoping to purchase within the next month. Looking to play a variety of games including World of Warcraft (including raids), God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, RDR2. Don't plan on streaming with it at this time, but definitely want to be able to play at max graphics without slowing down the framerates.

Have a decent monitor for now, will likely upgrade it down the road. Will need an OS.

I'd like to stay in the $1000 - $1500 if possible. Located in the Denver, CO area so local enough to stores if picking up in person is necessary.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

Microcenter might be a good option. You can get some good deals on AMD hardware right now.

Yeah, that one lets you get quite the bigger GPU, and is basically a 13400 CPU, so yeah, good on Microcenter for some cool stuff. Now you do pay them back for the higher memory, PSU, storage, etc prices, but you don't necessarily have to get everything there. They do have some good GPU deals though as well. Even with everything from there...kind of within budget, can always drop down to a 3060Ti or 3060 12GB. You might save a buck and buy the OS yourself, paying extra for the DVD version.

I did pick a more expensive ram kit as well, but they are all about 10-15 bucks higher at MC. Their PSU selection leaves something to be desired, but that is true everywhere at the moment. So again, went for a nicer one.

I'm going to add to Eximo's board + cpu combo deal. This gpu down below is overkill for your resolution but you'll be fine as wine if you ever decide to upgrade to 1440P.
