Hey guys so i just finished setting up my new pc and thought i'd give the temps a quick check over with all settings at stock.
First pic is idle and second pic is under prime95 for 10 mins. How do the temps look?
I also noticed core 1 & 3 are alot cooler than core 0 and 2...should i be worried?
Also are there any BIOS settings i should enable/disable? I noticed cpu speed and voltage is throttled when idle but is the 1.28v seem ok for 3.8ghz load?
Lastly what software can you recommend to thoroughly test hardware for DOA faults/stress testing etc.

Specs are
i5 3570k at stock speed
8gb corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 ram
Asus P8Z77-V
Asus GTX660ti
Intel 330 180gb ssd
Corsair H60
Corsair 500r case

that seems weird. is your ambient temp very low?

the load temps seem normal

Hmmm... those temps are a bit high but well... the H60 is a VERY crappy cooler.

Yea i think ambient was easily somewhere <10c last night.

Would the highish temps be caused by the high vid? 1.281v for only 3.8ghz seems a bit excessive?

yep. im running my i7@ 4ghz with 1v and things are pretty cool @ 55c max on prime
