I am thinking on putting together something like this for my home office (no games):

processor: Intel G540 CPU 2.50 GHZ
motherboard: ASRock B75 PRO3 LGA 1155
ram: Kingston Hyper X Plug n Play 4 GB Kit
HD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition VL80001W2Z Black SECC / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
power supply: CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Am I missing something?

What are the odds of this also running games if I throw an nVidia card in it?

Any input is welcomed!

Kingston Hyper X is mostly incompatible with intel build
most of them have 1,65V which will kill your intel cpu

you better swap it with any corsair or gskill ram whatever cheaper

btw you have a rock solid office build dude, throw any nvidia or radeon card on it
gt 650 DDR5 or radeon 7750 will be enough :) or you can get higher than that

Hey arahain! Your build is looking good for a home office machine!

What Radeon said is a genuine concern, however, if the RAM is the one below:
http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/hyperx/pnp
You will find no problems with it (it runs @ 1.5V rather than 1.65V as Radeon said)

If you want to make this a light gaming machine, as Radeon said, just throw in a Radeon 7750 @ ~$100 or a cheaper 6670 @ ~$60

With it you'll have no problems playing games on medium res @ 1680 x 1050
