Hi
I just finished picking up the parts that I think is best for my PC build.
Here is the parts:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qddH9W
GPU: gtx 970 or gtx 1070 (waiting for the 1070 reviews).
Operating System: Windows 10 pro 64bit.

System usage: I am going to do some gaming and heavy rendering and editing.

Overclocking: yes, I might be overclocking later!

Here is my questions:
1. Is corsair h60 cooler good for overclocking?
2. Does my PSU have 8 pin ESP connectors? and is the ATX 12 connectors 8 pin in my PSU?
3. What is corsair h60 max thermal design power (tdp)?
4. Is it better for me to have faster ram (rendering editing)? do I need faster ram in order to overclock?
5. Is there any other things that is not useful in this build, or something I can change?

(This is my first build btw!)

Thank you!

Solution
Yes its good, If you can get more storage its better for gaming.

1) Yes
2) Yes it has 2x 8 pin, but its modular so you have other options too.
3) No idea, but considering you can use a kit, and use on a 300w overclocked 980ti and keep it at 50c , I t will be fine for anything less.
4) Ram Speed does very little in gaming benchmarks. It used to be handy for things like FSB over clocking but I don't think it matters anymore.
5) More storage, maybe a second larger capacity HDD

If you are doing heavy rendering and editing, the x99 platform is a FAR better option:

This is totally worth the price difference. Also, you will definitely want to go with the 1070.
1. not really. the air cooler i selected performs better and is more silent. you need a dual fan AIO watercooler to outperform the best aircoolers. if you have another $30 you can go for the corsair h110i
2. i;ve changed it for womething cheaper but just as good(gols certification doesn't mean that much). both had all the propper connectors.
3. dont know. anyway, not recommended.
4. not really. capacity is way more important. i would invest a further $50 and get a 4x8 kit instead of teh selected one(i didn't wan to push it with the extra cash). also, ram speed and cpu overclocking are not really related on skylake.
5. see teh ammended build :)

Whoops my bad I thought it was supposed to be released during Computex. Honestly I never remember Codenames not after Devils Canyon anyway.

I really do not have a lot of money to spend on the x99 and i7-5820K, thats why I went with the z170

They'll anounce at Computex. But availability is set for later on.

I have been waiting for the new GPU for 3-4 months, I can wait anymore + I don't have a lot of money to spend on the new CPU

Teh 5820k will do just fine. And the Broadweel equivalent will not be as cheap(around 400) so not worth waiting for.
The 1070 over 970 is another story.

I already have 2TB of storage, that would be a total of 4250GB:)

Here. Under 900.

Believe me, those extra 4 threads will make quite a difference in rendering and editing.

But I am going to do some gaming too! in gaming the i7 6700k gets me more frames, so when I am recording my game play I will be able to get a good frame rate!

There will be no difference between the two while gaming, with a slight edge for the 5820k when you are recording/streaming as it has more cores to do the extra work.
