I am currently coming home from a year long deployment in the middle east. I had built a new desktop from scratch right before I left home.

Specs are as follows:

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119227

Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157230

Video Card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102924

Power Supply - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030

Processor - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072

Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148347

Hard Drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145299

Currently I am only using the computer to stream games on Twitch TV. The games I play are Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft, Counter Strike: GO and League of Legends. I would like to play other games that I may want to play at some point though and preferably would like to be able to play them on the highest settings. I am getting a new monitor that will be 1920x1080 if that matters. I Would like to only spend 1000 - 1500 dollars after everything. Any help at all will be extremely appreciated.

I've found out some of your parts are discontinued or out of stock. A little bit strange.

A good replacement for your discontinued i5-2500k is i5-3570k: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504,

However if u don't OC your CPU the 3570k will be a waste. Recommend u to add a CPU cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065, if there is no need for u to manually OC your CPU, u may consider i5-3350p or other non-K i5 processor.

Could choose a Z77 mobo to replace your P67 one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128547

A HD 6970 last-gen flagship would take the HD 6870's position:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202035
(Geez, $50 cheaper than...

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, $105
Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 (Could change your 1333 one to 1600), $73
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233144

Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100311-3L Radeon HD 6970 , $160
PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W, $70
Case: COOLER MASTER Elite 430 RC-430-KWN1 Black Steel / Plastic, $50

Total: (Without Monitor) $737. ($767 with the cooler)
(Again, u American taxes low, so it would be around $800-850 including shipping and taxes)

Wish u have a good build.

Looking at the specs online, just how much of a difference will this make compared to my old build? It doesnt seem that much different. I appreciate the help though because im definetly lost.
