ive bought a new motherboard and i still have the cpu and ram on the way but i wanted to start the build sooner. Ive built the mobo and plugged everything in however when i try to power it on it doesnt power up. The mobo has a led and it lights for a sec when i switch the button in the power supply so i guess the mobo is getting some power. Ive checked the hdd/pw/pled/res cables and they are correctly plugged in. Ive tested the power supply with the paper clip trick and it works. I really dont know what could be the cause because it should power up even without cpu and ram but i might be wrong.
