I'm at a complete loss on this one guys and I'm ready to take it to a shop or something. Ever since I built this i've been having issues with only certain games that are causing my pc to just reboot as if it was unplugged and plugged back in. I've played hours in Vr and it's never happened and it never happened in Hearts of iron 4 or just youtube. But for Smite, borderlands 3 and Modern warfare it happens. Sometimes 5 mins in sometimes 30 mins in.
My build:
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Gpu: Asus TUF gaming x3 5700xt OC
Mobo: Asrock x570 Phantom Gaming 4
RAM: Evo potenza 16gb ddr4 3200
SSD Teamgroup L5 lite 1tb 2.5in
PSU: Thermaltake 700watt smart
I've tried so many things so before you recommend something here's some of what i tried.
Mem test came out good nothing was wrong with the ram. I even used one at a time and problem persisted.
Originally i used an evga supernova 550w g3 and it did the same thing so i bought the thermaltake, problem persisted. (redid every wire)
I reseated the gpu and ram
I monitered temps and everything was fine. I stress tested the cpu and gpu and the computer never restarted.
I've updated all my drivers and bios.
Tried different outlets around my house.
I got rid of the OC from the 5700xt
tried to play with underclocking and some memory stuff to get it stable and nothings worked
At this point i'm lost and frustrated ive done other things like turned off fast start up and such so if i missed something i apologize. But it's strange how can i play vr with no issues and then i play smite and 5 mins in my computer just restarts. (ive ran smite for an hour before too then a restart) I just dont get it.
Also only code i get is kernel power 41 and all bugcheck codes are 0
