New Build - LED fanlight flickers and no display

I'm new at building computers and I have everything set up according to the manual. But I get no display. At the get go the case fan LED blinks for a moment and then stabilizes and then I hear a beep(I only here one and its not on a continuous loop).

how is your monitor hooked up to your pc , with the onboard graphics or on the graphics card ?
1 beep indicates all is working fine

if it is plugged into the motherboard at the rear of your case try switching it to the graphics card

I've switched between both and it doesn't work in either even with the adapter that it came with.

My monitor is hooked up to my graphics card seeing as I don't have onboard graphics for my cpu

graphics and cpu are diffrent,
i checked your motherboard ,on your i/o plate you have two graphics connectors ( Not your card )
one is a vga port the other is a dvi port both of these can be used to hook up the on board video to the monitor , try plugging into each of these one at a time and see if you get a display on your monitor

I've checked both still no display

What is your PSU?
Try reseating RAM
Try running the system with only CPU/ATX power plug. (no RAM, no GPU, no storage) See if it gives RAM beep.
If so, add one stick of RAM and see if the beep changes or if no beep
Then add GPU and see if there's display.
