New Build. Max $2000

I'd love to get some input on this build. Plan is to hopefully play BF3 on max/high settings. So if there are any possible changes to save money without losing too much performance, any ideas would be appreciated.

Price + taxes (CAD): $1,730.57 + $224.97 Taxes = $1,955.54

Some options i've been thinking, is:
dropping to i5 2500k
changing to cheaper but just as good Motherboard
changer cheaper but just as good Case

And since you didnt answer the questions to help people give advice, im going to assume you're not going to sly. So that 850w is overkill.

Get a cheaper + modular 650 W

Yeah, no plan on SLI atm and new to this forum so wasnt sure on the proper format. I'll add the extra info in this post


I edited my first post to help clear anything else up.

And i probably will drop down to i5 2500k, since i don't think i'll need anything more for Gaming, hopefully.

Agree with most above.

I5-2500k
Asrock extreme4 z68 (or extreme3 for cheaper)
Lower psu to a good 650w psu. Pc Power & cooling mk ii silencer is one)
Noctua is too much. Go with cm hyper 212+ for 30usd or nzxt havik for 65usd.

Ps. Yeah case is a bit too much. Check out corsair graphite 600t, nzxt phantom, bitfenix shinobi, lian li first knight, antec 900 or 1200

Or, if you're not totally set on intel, just switch to an AMD Motherboard and processor. You'll save 200 bucks right there. Although intel processors do last literally (that was the correct usage) forever, AMD processors last 10 years longer than you need them. You might disagree, but that's how it is.
