New build memory prob

I just built my first comp like 15 min ago. I have a HDMI cable running to my TV from me Sapphire 7870. There is no image and my motherboard is a z77. The error code on the board is 53- a memory error, no memory. I know the power is is on to my WD 250G HDD. What going on??? Please help.

Memory =/= Hard Drive

Memory refers to the RAM (Random Access Memory).

install your RAM, without it you wont even get to POST.

OK so you were right! My ram was not put in very well... However, do you know what a error code for "no console input device is found" means.

and now it is going off and of on its own.

Probably means your keyboard/mouse isnt plugged in. Make sure its on a standard USB2, some mobo's (Such as the Extreme4 I think you have) cant use the USB3 ports in the BIOS.

I did not know you needed those for boot up. I thought I could test it with out lol. I swear I really am a smart person! Thank you. you have been alot of help tonight!
