New Build mobo help

Hello all,
I am about to build a computer for all-round performance and some gaming.

I was wondering what the differences are (Besides SLI compatibility) between the Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3P and the GA-Z97X-SLI.

The HD3P looks basically identical other than the SLI feature (Which is nice, sure, but I don't really plan on using it and if I did it would be in the far future), is this incorrect??

Here's a comparison of the 2 boards and you're right. The main difference between the boards is that the 97X-SLI board has better dual graphics card support with either Nvidia or AMD based cards. In the future you can add another vid card. The SLI board has some other small options too that the HD3P board does not.
