Hey doing a new cpu ram mobo upgrade from 1700x x370 and 3000 16gb ram.
Decided on 3700x and 16gb 3600 ram but can't decide on mobo.

I want the following, atleast 6 USB ports on the back, 2 x m.2 slots and internal USB c slot and budget no more than £150. Little or no overclocking

I can't find any b450 mobo with that combo (lack internal USB c slot) , have found lots of x570 but lowest price at £190. I did considering keeping current mobo but read the Asus prime Pro x370 struggles to get memory past 3200?

Any suggestions appreciated

Keep your current motherboard.
I think RAM is more dependent on the CPU.
The 3700X should support upto 3600Mhz dual sticks.

Which x370 do you have now ? With proper BIOS all are capable of running 3rd gen Ryzen.

Just finished my first build. Ryzen 3700x in a asus rog strix x370 f-gaming (what a mouthful) motherboard. 32gb lpx vengeance at 3000 mhz, aorus rtx 2080 xtreme (factory overclocked) card. 128gb ssd for boot, 500gb nvme for games, 500gb sata ssd for more games, 1tb for backups. nzxt kraken cpu cooler, in a diypc case (gonna upgrade to the 011 dynamic soon).
As far as the mobo and cpu combo is concerned, everything is working great hitting 4.4 with pbo.
