New build,need a bit of help

I had a freshly built pc for 6 hours and then a power surge took down the mobo(now i must buy a new one),although i am worried that other components could be dead i'm asking you if this build is fine or incredibly bad.if you are wondering why i chose this mobo its because i cannto find any other mobos for this socket in my country.and will the psu hold?
Motherboard:ASROCK H61 PRO BTC
PSU:Corsair VS 550W
GPU:GTX 970 G1
CPU:intel i5 2400
Case:Coolermaster N400
Ram: ( dont remember brands) 1x4GB and 1x2GB

The psu seems good. I think that the cpu has a chance to be affected. The graphics card surely isn't
