Question New build need help with fans.

I recently built a new PC and everything seems to be working properly. I installed a NZXT ELITE 360 AIO and swapped the fans for my SL120v2 which is plugged into the CPU Fan Header and RGB wire is plugged in the Lian Li controller. My other case fans are Lian Li SL120 V2 and are plugged into the Lian Li controller box. I installed NZXT Cam and L-Connect 3. Now my question is should I set all fans in PWM mode (CPU FAN and Case Fans) in the bios or/and do I need to put my Case fans on START in L-connect 3 for them to work properly? Is there anything else i need to do even tho everything seems to be working. I'm looking to see if I missed something for optimization and I want to make sure everything is running at it's full potential. Thx in advance.

IF the fan is PWM, then that header should be set to PWM, period.

If the fan is DC, then the header should be set to DC/Voltage controlled. Period.

If you are not sure, then set it to auto, and if you don't have a setting for auto in the BIOS for the fan headers then you have fairly old hardware.

Listing your full hardware specs including exact model numbers for all of the core hardware, especially the power supply, would make it a lot easier to offer advice based on actual knowledge, rather than guesswork.

That's a nice rig.

Let me get back to you on that. I need to look at the manual on that cooler and look around a bit to see if you MUST use CAM with that particular model. If you do, then I'm sorry man, really. I invested a fair amount of money in NZXT products in the past but when I had my Grid+ and Hue+ v2 and they started forcing CAM down our throats and then we discovered they were collecting every damn thing we did via phone home, and then they cancelled the CAM forum in order to hide those discussions, I was done with them.

Which doesn't really help you I know. I mean, if everything is working correctly, then, not sure why we're even talking about it. LOL.

If there are questions with a specific connection or system, we can check that out but honestly if everything is working right, IDK what more you want. Are the fans too loud? Are the stalling at times? I mean, if there is nothing wrong, there is nothing wrong.
