Hello gents!, I am currently building a new PC to run Skyrim (With EXTREME graphic enhancing mods) and most next-gen games. (Skyrim fanatic, can't wait until Fallout 4.)

Help me build something that will run a non-existent Fallout 4! (Whatever you guys think the requirements will be. I know that they haven't announced it yet.)

Current build: (Will only include CPU, GPU, MOBO, AND RAM) (1000W PSU)

Processor - AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor, 3612 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) (Stock 3.6 Ghz)

GPU - AMD Radeon HD 6970 (HD 6900 Series) (Stock)

MOBO -

RAM - 4 x 4 - 16 GB 1600 MHZ

Projected build: (This is subjugated to change from the input provided.)(This will include cooling.)

(This will include ALL components)

NOTE - I was wondering if you guys have heard of the CyberPower PC save 700$ when you smack on a 7990? I usually build my PC but this offer is something I had to share. I will provide price and components of my custom build/Cyberpower PC build. Help me decide on which to get, thanks!

Processor - Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.5 GHZ 8 MB Cache ($339.99)

GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 6GB DDR5 DVI-I/Quad Mini DP PCI-Express Game Edition Graphics Card 21207-00-50G ($799.99)

MOBO - ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard ($239.99)

RAM - Will Re/Use my 4 x 4 - 16 GB @ 1600 MHZ (Or should I upgrade? Sticks are about a year old.)

HDD - I will Re/Use my 1TB 7200 RPM HDD.

PSU - Forgot the exact name, but it is a 1000W supply. (PLATINUM)

CPU Cooling - Corsair Hydro Series H110 280 mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler ($114.99)

CASE - Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case CC-9011030-WW - Black ($129.99)

TOTAL: $2554.93 (NOTE - I wasn't expecting this price, I may downgrade to a more acceptable price.)

CyberPowerPC build: (How is this so cheap? Jeeze..)

NOTE - I am unsure of the exact prices of the hardware. I will just provide a total.

Processor - Intel® Core™ i7-4770K 3.50 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150

GPU - AMD Radeon HD 7990 6GB GDDR5 16X PCIe 3.0 Dual GPU Video Card

MOBO - CrossFireX] ASUS Z87-K Intel Z87 Chipset DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, 2x PCIe x16 (1 Gen3, 1 Gen2), 2 PCIe x1 & 3 PCI

RAM - I will include this in the price because they are making me buy it. I chose the cheapest one because I am going to use my 4 x 4 - 16 GB @ 1600 MHZ

HDD - I will include this in the price because they are making me buy it. 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD

PSU - I will also include this in the price because they are also making me buy it, BUT the price is decent for a 1200 PSU. 1,200 Watts - LEPA G1200-MA 80 Plus Gold Certified Modular Power Supply.

CPU cooling - Asetek 570LX Liquid Cooling system w/ 240MM Radiator and Dual Fans (Extreme Overclocking Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA)

Fan Cooling - 500-1,200 RPM T.B. Silence Black Color with Red LED Twister Bearing 8-14 dBA

CASE - CyberPowerPC X-Titan Full-Tower Gaming Case w/ Front USB 3.0, Built-in Fan Control, EZ-Swap HDD Dock, & Side-Window Panel.

(This special also comes with 3 free games, keyboard and a mouse.)

TOTAL - $1461.99

SUMMARY - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
TOTAL on Newegg: $2554.93 (This does not include HDD, RAM, PSU, 120MM fans.)
TOTAL on CyberPowerPc: $1461.99 (Includes pretty much everything.)

What do you guys think I should do? Buy from CyberPowerPC, edit the build on Newegg, or create an entirely new build.

Thanks,
Fred.

P.S
If I have missed anything please ask

Solution

Three things my friend:

1-1000watt is an overkill for 780
2- R9 290x is superior to 780
3- That's an over priced build with performance not equal to my build.

nnonon dont worry i changed the GPU to a 290x. 780 sucks. Lol

Correct.

Awesome builds.
Would you guys recommend re/using my 1 TB HDD / 125GB SSD? Also, why the 290 over the 7990?
Yes I will be shooting the old Windows OS through a USB stick. Also, should I RE/USE my 4 x 4 - 16?

I will buy everything new, I would just like to feel like it's worth buying something that I already have new.

Thanks!

R9 290X is the best card out there for it's price/performance ratio!
It's a beast within.

You can reuse your HDD and SSD.

You are welcome :)
