As said above, there is virtually no benefit of using an i7 over an i5 for gaming. Again, you don't need more than 8gb's of Ram.

I didn't change anything other than the case components, and case. The 770 performs better than the 7970, however if there are free games with the 7970 I can understand going with that card. I went overkill on the cooler, but it'll fit nicely with the top 140mmx2 fan spots. No reason to pay a price premium for faster than 1600mhz Ram, but the 1866 is comparably priced. The PSU has the same specs as the one you had listed, for less money. Build quality remains the same, however. This case is extremely good, but, the overall selection of a case is more of your opinion. I deleted the wi-fi adapter because that motherboard comes with it built in. Also deleted the extra case fan because with that cooler, you should have sufficient air flow.
:edit: Also added an SSD. Still comes in less than your original build and there isn't a reason to not include one.
