New build, need suggestions building for first time

plan on using it for gaming, upgrading in december, and the parts i listed were from newegg

Xigmatech HDT-S1283 cools as well for about 1/2 the price.

An HD4830 would be plenty for that monitor.

The PSU is massive overkill, although it is a good deal. The VX450 would be plenty of power.

If you can afford to upgrade to the 940BE then do it, it is only $20 more in the same combo deal with the mobo.

If you play Crysis then keep the GPU you have, otherwise the 4830 is plenty.

That case you chose is awesome, but unless you have a lot of hot hardware (and you don't at this point, I'm talking 4HDD's, OC'd CPU and 2 GPU's) then you don't need it's cooling power, this would be fine:

If you're planning on upgrading in december you may as well buy a cheap i7 setup, then at least it will be compatible with future upgrades.
