New Build. No audio or internet.

Built system with Asrock z270 killer sli. Don't have copy of windows so used old SSD as boot drive. Cannot get driver disk to update internet and audio.

System is i7 7700k. 2 SSDs and 1 HDD.

Is the usb working? get the driver on another pc and copied to/from an usb drive

The disk works just times out on install. Freezes up

you mean the cd/dvd drive freeze up or the ssd?
sound like you need to do a fresh OS install

Sounds like you're using a SSD/HDD with a copy of windows installed on it for Computer B and are trying to use the same installation of windows for Computer A, which likely has different components than B.

You're dealing with windows loading drivers for hardware you don't have. Assuming you have a valid license to windows, you can download the OS from Microsoft and create an installation DVD/USB.

Yea that's what I'm trying to do. Only have old win 7 disk

You cant reuse a copy of windows with completely different hardware. At best it is unstable like the problems you are having. Often it wont even boot.

You need to download the windows media creation tool to create a USB or DVD of Windows 10.
You will also need to transfer your license to your microsoft account from the computer that SSD drive/windows installation is from.

If you dont your PC will eventually figure out you have different hardware and windows license will be deactivated.

I tried steps above. Now windows is corrupted and won't boot. Constant loop.

Perform a repair installation then on your old hardware, that will at least keep your license key in tact

Before doing that though, run startup repair and see if it can fix it.

This is assuming it loops AFTER seeing any windows screen, if it is looping in bios before the windows screen then you have a conection problem.

It was booting to the SSD with windows 10. Now since that drive is corrupted the other drives have no OS. Which I'm guess is causing the loop.

Ok problem fixed. Upon further research these 2 things fixed problem.

1. Had stock driver disk in DVD drive. Sounds crazy but this caused install to fail.

2. Down loaded is file from Microsoft . Had to emulate cell phone cause otherwise get redirected
