So I built a new computer and I get zero display. I’ve tried everything. This is the second motherboard I’ve tried and there is just no display no matter what I try. Here’s what I’ve got. I haven’t tried upgrading the GPU yet, it works fine in my other computer. Everything turns on. Everything is seated correctly, everything is plugged in. I thought the first build I did just had a bad motherboard so I sent it back and ended up getting a completely different one. I’ve read that people had boards with no bios but I really doubt that’s the issue since I’ve tried two entirely different boards with the same result. I’ve tried every assortment of plugging in the monitors, no DISPLAY!!!

Solution
Are your 2 sticks of RAM in slots DIMMA2 and DIMMB2?
Try clearing the CMOS and booting with just 1 stick of RAM in slot DIMMA2.
Double check the power cables are plugged correctly into the back of your modular PSU.
Try booting with your video card in the 2nd x16 PCIe slot.

Yeah everything is set properly. last night a friend of mine brought over a radeon card and we put it in, got display right away. so for some reason it just doesnt want to work with nvidia and my gtx780 works fine in my other computer. i had ordered a Nvidia rtx2060 that comes today, so ill find out for sure if the board just wont take a nvidia GPU. but i've never had an issue where a motherboard didnt like the GPU, i hope it was just a fluke.
