New build, no display.

Z170A SLI Plus
500w ps
I7-7700k
EVGA 970 SC
16g DDR4 ram

Just finished building, it's starting but giving me a DRAM debug light. I've tried 2/4, 1/2 configurations but nothing works. The light goes off after about 10 seconds, but nothing is displayed. I've tried VGA and hdmi off of both the mobo and GPU.

the problem is you paired a kaby lake CPU with a motherboard with a Z170 chipset and they do not work with them out of the box

the BIOS on your motherboard does not support the I7 7700K so you need to find a way to update the BIOS

without knowing the full make and model of your motherboard it is hard to tell which options you have to get it to work but usually the only thing you can do is you will have to ether return the motherboard and get one with a Z270 chip set or purchase a cheap sky lake (6th gen) CPU to get the motherboard to boot so you can to update the BIOS so it will work with the 7700K
