New Build - no display

I just built a new pc yesterday when i switch it on all the fans and motherboard lights turn on but no beeps were heard and the monitor says no input
I tried one ram stick didt work and the monitor and vga cables worked fine.If someone could help me find out what is wrong it would be greatly appreciated

The CPU might require a BIOS update.

I agree, no display is not the real issue here - your system is not POSTing so of course there will be no display - and not much of anything else either.

That's a typical symptom of existing BIOS not supporting the CPU.
