I recently got an ASUS B150 Pro Gaming D3 motherboard and a new i7 7700k CPU. I had the BIOS updated to support the i7, as the motherboard does not support the newer CPUs by default. I got everything to start up and run, but the Ethernet port does not seem to work, when plugged in there are no lights that appear to light up on the port. The Device Manager says that there is a problem with the LAN driver, saying something along the lines of there is a problem with the hardware or drivers. I have installed everything offered by the motherboard's CD and taken the newest LAN driver from the ASUS website for the board. I ensured the port was enabled in BIOS but still nothing. I even reformatted the hard drive and installed Windows 10 using a bootable flash drive I created from a Windows 10 laptop (didn't activate it yet). I'm completely lost on what to do for it. The only thing I can think of is that when trying to install the drivers I took from the website the bottom option says it wont install because something SNMP is not installed. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.
