[SOLVED] new build-no signal from 2060 graphics card?

new build screen says no signal-reset cmos several times-on board video works-nvidia utility says card not found although emblem on card lights up
wind 10 home
samsung 860 ssd
intel i7
msi z390
gigabyte rxt 2060 oc
acer gaming monitor
corsair cx650-

Especially making sure it is connected up correctly.

Following that if your iGPU works but the RTX doesn't I would be tempted to RMA the GPU.
If you can, try it in another system and see if it works.

Male sure that you've connected all required PCIe power cables to it.
The onboard should be disabled when graphics card correctly installed.

does it auto disable the the onboard or do i manually turn it off somewhere like the bios ?

It should automatically do it.
But you can also manually do it in the BIOS.
