Tried changing out video card to radeon video card and it works. But when I put my Nvidia back in im getting a black screen no signal on monitor. I have a MSI 990FXA-GD65 motherboard and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 TI FTW 3GB video card. Oh, and i've also updated drivers and flashed my bios to newest version with the other video card plugged in. PLEASE HELP!!!

Does your Nvidia have the two 6 pin power connectors and are both connected?
Little confused by your post....did you uninstall the drivers before switching cards?
What do you mean by changing out video card to radeon but Nvidia doesn't work when I put it back in????

Sorry about that what I meant to say is, my mother board is a MSI 990FXA-GD65. I just purchased all new components to build a new computer. I put everything together and the computer comes on but just a black screen on the monitor. I swapped out the new Nvidia Geforece GTX 660 TI FTW with one of my old Raddeon 6950 and the computer comes on and boots windows. I swapped back to the Nvidia and all I get is a black screen. I put the Nvidia in my old computer and it works, so I know I didn't buy a bad card. Just was wondering what could cause this.

Yes I reused my HDD. I can't even get the motherboard logo to boot up on the screen, it just stays black while I have the Nvidia card in, so I can't even get into the bios or boot from disc.

Humm. If you remove the hard drive can you get into BIOS with that card? If so reset to defaults and try again.

You could put the hard drive in another computer and delete the partition. That would eliminate any conflicts with the old os.

Also, as big as it is, Coolmax power supplies have received terrible reviews generally. Try your other power supply in that thing.
