[SOLVED] New build not powering.

Hi,

I had 2 PC builds this weekend, both completely identical. Just finished the 2nd build and went to power on an the only thing which powered up was the Power Button LED for a moment.

The CMOS is fine, the bottom connectors look fine, the RAM is in properly, the motherboard cable is fine.

I am very confused because the 1st PC worked fine without any issues.

This should be very easy to troubleshoot. You have the identical parts that are working. You can start changing the PSU first.

I cant see it being the PSU because if that was the problem component, it wouldn't have powered up the Power LED

It’s still worth trying. Being able to provide enough power to run a few LED’s may not mean sufficient power on all rails to run the system.
