Question New Build Only basic Microsoft adapter display

Hi there

Installed new build on below specs.

m450 gaming pro carbon ac mobo
Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte Radeon 5700 xt oc
16GB Corsair vengeance ram 3200

I’ve built 2x pc’s one for my son and I.

Problem occurred on both builds.

Used USB for Windows 10 Install.

The graphics card will not show in the device manager. Only displays basic Microsoft display adapter driver. I’ve tried all sorts of driver updates and it still doesn’t recognise the GPU?

I have installed AMD driver Adrenaline version 19.2.1

I chose this because of current issues with latest driver suite.

I don’t know what else to try please help!

Yes I installed the lasers bios off msi website and did flashback.
I haven’t installed the latest chipset? Is this also on the msi website? If you could give me a link would be amazing thanks!

Downloaded the latest chipset and still nothing.
Is it as simple as just downloading off the msi website and then running the installer or should I be updating another way?

I don’t know what else to do?

if you are getting display, you are using the gpu.
what error are you getting when you install the gpu driver?

did you get the latest windows 10 for the usb install?
