Question New build options

I been using Pcpartspicker and I have a two builds I have assembled. My plan was to upgrade this system I am on which was build in 2018. I am using the existing case for this upgrade which is a Cool-master N400. I am not going to be using water cooling just air and I do not over clock. Issues with some of these third party air coolers is ram clearance so I did change the cooler on both builds to be hopefully help with that. I current have A NVIDIA 1660 GTX but I added a GPU to both builds.

I am getting sticker shock at the cost now. But this win 10 system was not planned to be a gaming system had than had to be due to console issues. Here are the builds and I would like Ideas of what I could or need to change. Jedi survivor is coming in March but this build I would like to last for a while for future games as well.

DDR5 version of that build I posted up above. Swap out the board, cpu, cooler and RAM with these.

Thanks for all the options. Never considered using a non overclock CPU not sure why. I have never installed a third party cooler before I am sure it not hard. Though does the I5 13400F need it? Since it came with a stock cooler? Or would it get to hot a protect itself?

The Samsung 970 amazon has the same price right now. since Adorama has it back ordered. I am getting that today might as well. Odd how PCpartspicker does not even list that motherboard I had to added manually.

I can see the difference with the the CPU's between the i5 126.00 to the 12400F. but what does the F stand for?

For 1400 this is what I would do;

Thanks Helper800
I am one of those older people that still have a internal DVD/CD burner. The Lian Li Lancool 216 would not work for me. Plus I still use the tower PC storage space on my desk.
Which is this one but do not use the door for it . Plus glass and me do not mix would end up broken.

I would do something like this. The IGP can be useful, for troubleshooting, and quick sync has some benefits as well, so I chose the non F skew.

I will have decide which option to go with. I did not expect so many ;) Interesting case the Pop Air was one I have not seen before. Plus they added the 5.25 bay on the bottom. I would have thought it had none since it was not shown but for the specs.

This was to be a upgrade to this Z370 build. Now is a total build, as for cost the lowest I can go but the future proof gaming PC. The stock cooler, would it be okay on say Intel Core i5-13400 2.5 and not use a third party or am I asking for thermal issues?

I slightly modified Why_me DDR5 version mainly a CPU with integrated graphics in case the gaming GPU dies. I can still use the computer still use my N400 case which I think will be fine with the thermalright assassin cooler.

I should have mentioned I do not care about RBG etc. I also like having 4 USB ports on the front of the case. Even though I liked the pop air case with the blue the USB ports on top are not enough.

I think in the future if I bulid another .....gaming system I may have to onmit the CD/DVD internal drive. I have a Bluray USB Burner / player.

I am 55 o_O... okay get up off the floor and I still build gaming systems. For how much longer I cannot say.

Well question came to me about my current power supply. Its a 650CX I believe. I will confirm tomorrow. But is 650 enough power?

Update
Comfirmed PSU is a CX650M. I looked up the specs for the GPU and it suggests 650.

Update System is built and being used. Smooth build I had to read the cooler how to mount it. Took around four hours for the hardware. Due to removing my old system from the case I was going to use for this build. I would post a picture of the system but seems that URL is needed which is not a picture.

Good to hear. Yeah, you need to use a photo hosting service, like imgur, to show your photos.
