Solution
The build you have though fairly old is still capable especially with the 980Ti though a move to Ryzen in the 3600 plus B450 in the future will make a decent difference. But I just noticed your RAM at just 4GB...If you can stick another 4GB at least or go full 16GB maybe by buying second hand to tie you over..

Save your money to a point where you can afford the Ryzen 3600 + B450 motherboard and 16GB of DDR4 3600 RAM and a 5600XT or equivalent...New CPU's and GPU's are just around the corner...so waiting will be better. In the mean time Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 has done some clever things on optimisation so it should okay...

Solution
Saying that, pricing is not too bad on Ryzen so you could do this for an instant boost matched to you 980Ti...The rest is good as you have a good PSU...almost overkill!! or actually overkill...The parts list includes fast RAM, Ryzen 3600, NVMe fast SSD...
