New build or upgrade

I need some input I am debating if I should upgrade parts or just build a new computer all together.
CPU = Intel Core i5-3570K
Ram = G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB ddr3 1600
GPU = EVGA GTX 670 FTW
MB = ASRock Z77 Extreme6 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
Games I play. Witcher 3, Rainbow 6, Will be playing no mans sky, Total war Warhammer.
If you need more info let me know. Another issue that happened about a year ago is my power supply exploded (capacitor popped) the case fans went along with the HD’s. Everything else seems to be fine for the past year. Normally every 4 years or so I build a new one once the tech has been outdated.
I guess I am unsure how much processors and GPUS have progressed. Any input and suggestions?

Upgrade for sure. Upgrade the gpu first and the cpu later, because the cpu is still good... well to be honest the 670 is still good, but for newer games it's starting to struggle. Also VERY important: Get an sdd. At this time you have to get an ssd. It just makes your pc so much faster/responsive.
