Question New build ordered, but should I return it?

I ordered a new build last week not paying attention to the new tech cycles.
I ordered the AMD 2700x w/ B450 Tomahawk, 16gb of 3200 memory and a 2070 graphics card.

My question is, should I return the 2700x and motherboard and wait a month for the new gen stuff. I don't have a problem waiting but there's also the risk of the new motherboards/processors having first gen issues.

Obviously, depends is an easy answer.. and I get that.. but I dunno.. I need a second opinion. At first this morning I thought that stuff is going back.. Now, I am thinking.. 15% increase... yeah its sizable but also risky do to first gen issues and also the motherboards might be priced super high at first.

well, this is the 3rd Gen of this chip, not the first.

as for returning and waiting, depends on how much you really want to wait.

I get that its not technically a first gen product, but it kinda is due to them being the worlds first 7nm proccesors.

I would keep what you ordered. You probably got a really good deal on second gen. Enjoy what you have now as there will always be a new release right around the corner.

The only thing I personally would not have bought is the Tomahawk but that's me. I would get the Asus ROG Strix or Gigabyte Aorus boards over that.

My son has the Tomahawk , runs great , no issues.
