Hello, I'm shezaei-neko and I'mnew here, and I seek your assistance in an issue that has been going with my new build PC. I just got it on May this year.
At first I was having a BSOD which appeared randomly while I was browsing using Mozilla and playing music in iTunes.
I was getting an error with the antivirus, which I removed and changed for another one. But the problem still persisted. Also, I "reinstalled" Windows without removing or affecting my files.
It looked like the problem was solved but the PC still crashes while browsing and playing music, though, this time is not showing any BSOD and only restarts, to then show that an error occurred and the system shut down to prevent errors and all that stuff.
I don't know what to do. It seemed random, but now that I've checked, it happens every month for around 2 to 3 days.
I took it to the tech and they opened it, but physically, everything looks fine. They even put another HDD to test it and it didn't show anything wrong.
I downloaded WhoCrashed to know more about the error and all of that, but I'm still at loss.
Here's what it gave me (this one is from just 2 days ago, and I've getting the same error since I reinstalled Windows):
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x52EBC9)
Bugcheck code: 0x124 (0x0, 0xFFFFFA80084C48F8, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
And Here are the specs of my PC:
Operating System
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD FX-6300 16 °C
Vishera 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M5A78L-M LX3 (AM3R2) 35 °C
Graphics
BenQ GL955 (1366x768@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6670 (ASUStek Computer Inc) 37 °C
Hard Drives
932GB Seagate ST31000340AS ATA Device (SATA) 39 °C
Optical Drives
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224BB ATA Device
Audio
Dispositivo de High Definition Audio
I've accessed the Device Manager, and everything shows fine there, also I used the tool to update the drivers for the devices and it shows that are up to date. I know I'm not overclocking since I'm not running any programs or games while the error happens. I've scanned the PC and also it shows it's clean.
I know my BIOS is at default since I don't like to mess with it.
I really have no idea as to what to do anymore. PLEASE! HELP! Thanks.
