New build pc no display on tv

Hello,
Ive just built a new pc
specs
asrock h77-mpro
corsair builder series 430w 80 bronze
intel core i5 3350p
radeon hd 7870
500gb seagate
8gb corsair vengeance which isnt on the motherboards QVL

I also didnt have any audio connection from the front panel

When I turn the pc on im getting no display from my tv which is a LG42LD450 using a HDMI cable from the motherboard and the graphics card

Any help appreciated

So you have the TV set as your monitor and no other display unit.

Did you install an OS ? Or you connected everything and switched on the PC, waiting for BIOS post screen ?

Have you connected the external power supply cable to your gfx card ?

Have you seated memory modules properly ?

Do the fans for CPU, gfx card, case, etc. spin ?

EDIT: Did you switch to the correct HDMI input on the TV set ?

yeah I have no other display
waiting for the BIOS screen
yeah its not connected now as I was just using the bare essentials
yeah the memories on properly
all the fans spin
yeah its only HDMI 1 or 2

What is NOT connected? Gfx card power input connector ?
