[SOLVED] New build pc. Pc won't stay on

I just build my new computer. However whenever i turn on the computer the fans keep spinning fora few seconds. After that it restarts the computer and does it all over again.
Does anyone know where it could have went wrong?

full system spec? include brand and model of the psu

One thing you did wrong, is buy an old dead platform, unless it was a super good deal. That motherboard may need a bios update, for your CPU. Fortunately said board does have a bios flash utility, that doesn't require you to use an older support CPU, in order to update. Download the latest, from MSI, then follow this to install it.
