hello and sorry for my english! i build a new pc using a b460 pro ashrock v 1.5, an i3 10100 an ssd and an old hhd.. i put all the staff together i opend it and i used a usb to load windows 10 on the ssd.. i started the pc, the load to windows was realy fast and i thought it was good to find drivers.. i downloaded some drivers and when i restart my pc the red light (vga) stayed on and my screen had a logo of ashrock stucked! if i disconnected the ssd i could run bios if not the logo was always in the monitor stucked.. i disconected the ssd i used the usb to setup windows to the hhd this time.. so i could had access to bios while the ssd was connected i formated everything again and i put for the last time win 10 on the ssd.. my thoughts was that the drivers was bad.. so the second time the ssd had windows rdy i give him drivers from the original dvd that was with the motherboard.. everything was perfect until i desided that i didnt want to have in my system the hdd and when i disconnected from it.. guess what the vga red light is on again during the opening of the pc.. is there any way i can easily fixed it..?plz tell me that this is simple something from bios

Solution
In the bios, make sure your SSD/HD is set to AHCI. Also, have you tried installing windows on the SSD, making sure that the other hard drive is NOT connected? Before you install windows 10 on the SSD, make sure to delete all the partitions on it. You have the ability to do that through the windows installation process. Sometimes if a second hard drive is connected during Windows 10 installation, some of the boot files get placed on that second hard drive instead of your main drive and then when you remove that drive after windows install, your system will no longer boot.

yep I fell victim to this hybrid installation when I got my first ssd. Didn't notice for literally like half a year that some system files were put on the hdd.
