Hello everyone,
I have been saving a bit of money, and i'd like to blow it all on a gaming rig. My budget is £3,300 GBP including a monitor.
Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP
Budget £3,300
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming >>> Work (word processing and internet).
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Location: UK
Parts Preferences: Intel CPU
Overclocking: Yes / Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: No but maybe in future, so happy to splash on a decent one now, and buy a second in a year or so.
Here's what I've thought so far: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Ccy9f8
I'm quite keen on a big monitor work work, and don't really want dual monitor for gaming, so i've gone ultra wide in my selection above.
i do a compatibility warning - not sure what it means? "The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled."
Is there anything else needed. Should I switch anything out? Thoughts appreciated!
Many thanks!
Tom.
