New Build - please give input

Im doing my first build since 2008. Im interested in any input or suggestions... Especially if there's any bottleneck issues you see. I plan on doing moderate gaming/video editing.

Here is my hardware list:

CPU: 4790k
GPU: GTX 970 (Gigabyte WF)
MB: Asus Z97-A
RAM: CORSAIR 8GB 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 (x2 = 16gb)
PSU: Coolermaster silent pro 850w
Case: Corsair 750D

Cooling:
(CPU) Noctua NH-D15
(Case): Noctua NF-A14 FLX (x2)

Chane the PSU get something from tier 1 or 2, 550-660w http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Everything else looks fine

What about Storage ?

I see no bottleneck and no storage. Get a samsung 850 evo 120 or 250GB for ssd.

not a bottleneck, but check the RAM height and make sure it doesn't interfere with the NH-D15. pretty sure you need low profile RAM with that cooler.

To be honest Im hoping to get this build in next few days - your answers are like the final green light before I make the purchases, so thank you!

Interesting link about PSUs, had no idea. For now I'll continue using my Coolermaster as that saves me having to buy a new one for now, but will probably upgrade that later.

Haven't looked into HD too much as other components were more my focus so far, but yes good point I better not settle for something mediocre and then regret it later.

Also, I think NH-D15 has got enough clearance for my ram (the NH-D14 had that problem) but I'll double check that..

you seem well informed and capable of doing research on your own. just remember the SSD recommendation, it really does make a noticeable difference in system use.
