under display it says: generic Non-Pnp monitor, and it only lets me choose 60hz. When I use this monitor on my other computer under display it has my monitor name, and it lets me go up to 144hz.
Also this new build won't let me connect to the internet. I've tested the cord, and modem on my other computer and it works fine. In device manager it says there is no driver for these things, and I can't install them. I don't think I need to use disk drivers for this as I haven't before.
Finally under advanced settings in screen res. it says microsoft basic display adapter, while on my other pc it has the video card.
is my motherboard broken, or?
