Hi

Iv just built a new system about two weeks ago, i havnt had any problem with it so far but when i play shogun my screen does this weird thing where the left half is on the right and the right half is on the left and then it crashes.

Heres a photo of what happens before the crash]

i can still use the computer for about a minute before it completely crashes so i check the gpu temp and it was only 55c.

if anyone has any idea what is going on it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Never seen this before in my life. Is it only in shogun? Also, what gpu are you using, are your drivers up to date and does anything get logged in event viewer?

Any other games you play or that this occurs with?

500W is minimum recommended but should be enough.

Just search "event viewer" in the start menu (assuming vista/7) and give it a minute or two to load up. Left hand side go to "Windows Logs" Double click on "System" then look for any errors or warning relating to anything that might have to do with your display system. If you aren't sure just post a screenshot.

Well i think i fixed it. i had my card overclocked fully in the catalyst control center. reverting it to default seems to have fixed it.

Atleast i hope it has il have to do some more gaming tomorrow and see if it does it again.
