New Build Problem

Just did a new build. Following components.

Asus X99 Deluxe, I7-5820, 16gb Gskill DDR4-2400 memory, 256gb Plextor M.2 primary drive.

I can install Win7 64bit but after the the OS starts doing updates the system will no longer boot past windows splash screen. Curiously cannot get it to safe boot either. Out of frustration I installed Win 10 TP and have had no problems at all. CPU OC stable to 4.5mhz. Rock solid stable after two hour burn in. I am thinking there is driver issue with win7 ???. Anyone have any suggestions. I hate to be dependent on a Beta OS.

That is definitely a driver issue. If you could have booted into safe mode and uninstalled all the drivers that would have done the trick. But saying that you cant i think you might have answered your own question
