I'm going to build my first PC as I heard you can get potentially a better build for cheaper.
Here is the specs I want to go for: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/YungEb_/saved/MxqNzy

Question 1: Will the stock cooler be enough for gaming whilst having other applications open in the background?
Question 2: Will I be able to install a 1TB HDD alongside the 1TB SSD I have there?
Question 3: Are those specs good enough to run games like GTA 5, Squad, Insurgency Sandstorm, Warzone at 1080p with a good amount of FPS?
Question 4: Anything else you guys suggest me adding or changing or anything I need to build it as not only is this my first PC I will build but this is my first ever PC.

I'm planning on purchasing the parts via eBay, Amazon and Facebook Marketplace. Any scams/tricks I should be looking out for?

The stock cooler is acceptable.

Yes, you can install both drives, and more.
I suggest you download and read, cover to cover the case manual.
Many questions will be answered there.

On just gaming, 16gb is fine.
But, if you add in chrome tabs(a ram hog) and others, buy a 32gb ram kit up front.

I think it is good insurance to buy a Non F version of the processor in case you have graphics card issues.

Your processor is capable of using a much stronger graphics card which you may want in the future.
You might go for 750w or more.
A psu will only use the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
Seasonic is a good brand, but the S12III is a bit dated.
Look for a unit with a 7 to 10 year warranty.

If you buy on ebay, look at the seller feedback carefully.
Read the description carefully.

On a first build, stick with a good retailer.
If you get a defective part, you have recourse.

  1. ok cheers mate
  2. I will read the manual probably more than once cover to cover
  3. I'm not planning on having a dozen tabs open just the usual probably 5-10.
  4. Ok Non F version of the processor it is then.
  5. 750W it is
  6. Ok 7-10 year it is
  7. Is scan.co.uk legit? I saw online it is, just want to make sure. I have just made the decision to buy from retailers rather than ebay and facebook.

is the stock cpu cooler worth replacing?
It is if it fits your budget. You went heavy on that monitor in the link and like @Lafong pointed out ... skip the sound card.

Sound card, no.
Only if you REALLY know you need it. Since you're asking the question, no.
The onboard audio is just fine.

WiFi?
Only if you really really cannot use an ethernet cable from your PC to the house router.
I won't be able to use an ethernet cable for my pc as I am too far away from the router so do you suggest I get a wifi adapter?
