Hi guys

Thinking about doing a skylake build early next year (upgrading from my sandybridge i5 2500), scan do a neat skylake bundle which you can choose all your components. There is also the option for them to overclock the K series up to 4.6 GHz for free which is what I'm planning to do, however I don't know whether or not air cooling would be sufficient for the case I am going to get which is the "be quiet silent base 800".

here's a rundown of the specs for the new build:

Asus ROG Maximus VIII Ranger
Intel Core i5 6600K overclocked
be quiet! Pure Rock (will get if its sufficient) else il get Corsair Hydro H80i
16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance
MSI GTX 970

I don't want my system to get to hot :3

Anyway Thanks

Solution
For a system like that, a decent CPU cooler and 2 decent sized (120mm) case fans should be adequate.
Don't forget, skylake runs cooler and uses less power than older CPU
